We can't help ourselves. Regardless of where we travel, finding that hidden gem off the beaten path is where we want to go. From locally-owned coffee shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants to the community-owned Diamond Peak Ski Resort, we invite you to discover one of our favorite Lake Tahoe resorts.

Diamond Peak opened in November 1966. Originally dubbed "Ski Incline," the master-planned vacation resort was the first to introduce snowmaking equipment to the western United States. As the popularity of skiing around Lake Tahoe grew, the arduous task of expanding the resort began to take shape, and in 1985 the upper mountain, advanced runs, and mile-long Crystal Quad chairlift would become a reality, doubling the resort's skiable slopes and earning the new name Diamond Peak.

Fast forward to 2023, and Diamond Peak Resort continues to impress. Check out the famous view of the lake from the Live webcam. We guarantee full-on FOMO, but don't worry; we are here to help! TahoeXperience has six perfect properties for guests looking to enjoy Diamond Peak and all the things Incline Village offers.

Ski all day, bonfire all night!

It's not every day we get to celebrate the stepson of Thor, so if you plan to visit Tahoe on February 3rd and 4th, don your best Norse attire and join the outdoor Ullr festival! Known for his beauty and skill with bow and skis, the Aesir Ullr is sure to become your favorite Norse deity, certainly deserving of a Lake Tahoe bash! Proceeds benefit the Diamond Peak Ski Team.
