Reno's reputation as an art-forward city comes to life at the Reno Chalk, Art & Music Festival. Recognized as the largest chalk art gathering in the region, this event takes place from August 25th to 27th at the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa’s West Parking Lot. This three-day event offers a blend of live art demonstrations, musical performances, culinary delights, local crafts, and a designated Kids Zone.

Step into a realm where asphalt becomes a canvas, transformed into colorful, albeit temporary, masterpieces. Witness these artists in action as they create vibrant works of art right before your eyes. From imaginative 3D pieces to colorful originals, artists compete for awards like Best Use of Color and the People's Choice Award. 

For the Kiddos

Beyond the artistry, the Reno Chalk Art & Music Festival caters to visitors of all ages. The Kids Zone provides a creative outlet for young ones to try their hand at chalk art, roll around in a giant hampster ball, test their bungee jumping skills, pop into the bounce house, or catch a ride on the chalk train. 

A Celebration of Summer

Explore local craft shops for unique finds, savor the diverse food and drink options from dozens of food trucks and specialty food booths. Beer lovers will appreciate the selection of local craft beers and award-winning hard seltzers. No festival is complete without music, and this year's lineup includes Grammy-nominated artist Jackie Green as the event's main headliner, along with other talented groups taking the stage throughout the day.
